He has profiled the inventor of the wind turbine, trekked across peat bogs and descended into the world’s largest seed bunker.

He started his career in local journalism in New York and later worked as a financial reporter in London, where he was recognised for his reporting on ESG issues and appeared as a commentator on CNBC.

Originally from Germany, he now lives in Scotland.
